Phone Counseling & Online Counseling Hours

I offer after-school and evening hours. Virtual counseling removes barriers of long distances to travel, traffic jams and can be done in the comfort of your own home, car, or quiet space. I work with teens with busy schedules and women with tight schedules, so online is a great solution for them.

I’m licensed in Indiana for mental health services.

Appointment times are:

Tuesday 10:00am to 6:00pm,
Wednesday  10:00am to 6:00pm and
Thursday 10:00am to 7:00pm

To schedule an appointment, please call 317-840-0490

What is the investment?

All sessions are 50 minutes and $210 each. I accept credit cards, FSA, and HSA cards. Sessions are conducted either weekly or biweekly. Once we have an intake session we can discuss the treatment option for you.

How Many Sessions?

It depends on the person and the issues being treated. For severe trauma I have worked with women and teen girls for a few years.

If you are experiencing mild anxiety it could be between 6 to 12 sessions.

It can typically take at least 3 to 4 sessions for a person to feel more comfortable in therapy. If you have done therapy in the past you may be more comfortable with the process from the beginning.

Investing in yourself can have positive impacts in your relationships, your work, money management, and how you cope with life stressors.

Do you take insurance?

I am considered an out-of-network provider. You have the option to submit an invoice to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance plan to confirm your out-of-network provider benefits for “telehealth mental health benefits.” It is your responsibility to verify the specifics of your insurance coverage.

The reasons I do not accept insurance:

  • Not all problems, conditions, or reasons you are seeking psychotherapy are reimbursed by insurance companies.
  • Please be aware that submitting a mental health invoice for reimbursement carries a certain amount of risk to confidentiality, privacy, or to future capacity to obtain health or life insurance or even employment.

I am happy to answer any questions you have about how to maintain your privacy while utilizing your out-of-network benefits. It is for this reason (and many others) that I decline to be an in-network provider for any insurance company.

If you choose to use your insurance some questions to ask your health insurance provider:

  • What are my out-of-network benefits?
  • Is telehealth covered?
  • What do I need to submit a claim?

Where are the forms?

After our initial phone consult, to save you some time when you come in for your first appointment, please click on the Secure Client Area to complete the required documentation. If you are a parent or legal guardian, you will need to complete the Consent to Treat a Minor form. If you are a parent who is separated or divorced I will need signatures from both parents before the child can begin treatment.

What if I want coaching vs therapy?

I offer women’s leadership coaching for introverted, highly sensitive, and high achieving women who are wanting to focus on business/career goals or personal goals vs mental health treatment.
